Each shade tells a story: green for growth and hope, white for peace, black for strength, and red for courage and unity. Introduced in 2013, the occasion honours the nation’s journey and the values that continue to guide it.
Across the Emirates, flags ripple from schools, towers, and homes – a wave of colour stretching from Abu Dhabi to Ras Al Khaimah. At 11 a.m. sharp, residents answer the call, raising their flags together in a collective salute to the nation’s spirit.
In that simple act of raising the flag, the UAE once again reminds everyone who lives here that it’s a shared sense of belonging that truly binds the country together.
