Architectural competition: Create a luxury waterfront community in the UAE!

We invite ambitious architects and leading studios to take part in designing Mira Coral Bay, the world’s first luxury waterfront community developed in collaboration with over ten globally renowned brands. 

Mira Coral Bay masterplan was developed by Marco Casamonti & Partners / Archea Associati, a studio with over 200 architectural works worldwide, including the Antinori Winery in Italy, the Li Ling World Ceramic Art City in China, and the Alban Tower in Albania.

What Are You Designing?

Four Residential Apartment Buildings

Create a pre-concept design for one of four branded residential buildings, each offering fully furnished apartments. The façade should capture the distinctive identity of a selected brand, translating its unique style into architectural form. Four finalists will be chosen, each tasked with developing the design for one of the buildings.

A Cluster of Townhouses

Develop a pre-concept for a cluster of branded, fully furnished townhouses. One architect or architectural studio will be selected to bring this concept to life.



How to Participate?

1. Provide a portfolio showcasing experience in designing similar projects, with at least two completed / under construction projects. Format: PDF, maximum size 20 MB
2. Attach a detailed CV.

Competition Timeline

• Submit your application on contest.miradevelopments.ae before April 9
• 20 participants selected
• Participants receive the technical brief
• All 20 participants who submitted their projects receive a fixed payment
• 5 finalists selected to become a part of the actual development
• Winning projects are officially announced in Dubai in May 2025

5. Sustainability – Use of modern technologies and energy-efficient solutions
6. Consistent architectural vision – The concept should blend effortlessly into the larger master plan

About the Project

The project is part of the 220,000 sqm Mira Coral Bay master plan featuring five-star hotels, beach clubs, fine-dining restaurants, and a mix of apartments, townhouses, and villas, all connected by a shared podium. Every building will come fully furnished by a luxury brand.
